John Morgan, P.Eng.

Engineer
BASc

Mr. Morgan has a diverse background in civil and structural engineering. He spent 25 years working in the northern half of British Columbia in private practice working on projects from subdivisions, wood frame structures, reinforced masonry buildings, industrial work and steel frame buildings. Some of the challenges included designing in locations where there were no snow load tables established, remote locations and lack of skilled trades.

In addition to his consulting practice, John spent a number of years teaching civil and architectural engineering at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, B.C. He spent the summers working with local engineering and architectural firms to stay current with the industry.

John returned to private practice full time in 2000 when he moved to Victoria to work in building rehabilitation of moisture damaged condominiums and other structures. He moved to London Ontario in 2009 for family reasons.

John has worked for a local engineering firm doing field inspections, and related work until joining Caskanette Udall.

John joined Caskanette Udall recently to make better use of his knowledge with repsect to building construction and rehabilitation. He is looking forward to working with new clients and making use of his experience in building design with respect to structural repairs and envelope design.
