Justin Breg

Justin Breg consults in the fields of structural design and analysis, forensics, and building science.

He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo. His research background covers a broad range of topics, including micromechanics of concrete, renovation of historic structures, and building in extreme climates.

​ He has designed buildings in Europe and Africa, as well as North America. His consulting experience includes the design of schools, indoor pools, arenas, high rise buildings, adaptive re-use projects, monasteries, and agricultural buildings. He has provided expertise in mining and transportation infrastructure projects, and in the development of novel building products.

​ Justin also teaches at the University of Waterloo, and at Willowbank School for Restoration Arts in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Course subjects include Advanced Structures, Building Science, and Building Construction.
