Sadie practices as an Professional Engineer in the areas of structures and forensics. Her degree in Systems Design Engineering has equipped her with knowledge across various engineering disciplines: structural, mechanical, electrical, fire behavior and building science. Her forensic expertise includes investigating fire cause and origin, structural damage, building enclosure issues, product failure and personal injuries. She designs solutions to remediate structures and building assemblies. Prior to joining Caskanette Udall, Sadie worked as a building science consultant for Halsall Associates in Ottawa and Vancouver. Sadie is qualified to investigate fire cause and origin as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and a Canadian Certified Fire Investigator (CCFI-C). Sadie is a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI), Canadian Association of Fire Investigators (CAFI), and the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA).
