Micheka graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University of Waterloo. She specialized in structures and obtained her Structural Certificate at graduation. She has over 15 years of work experience.

While attending the University of Waterloo, she worked with Caskanette Udall Consulting Engineers for three of her six work terms where she was trained in forensic engineering. She completed her last work term with the fire research group at the University of Waterloo to expand on her fire knowledge base. After graduation, Micheka moved to Alberta and worked for the City of Calgary. She began work with Environmental Assessment and Liability, where she worked on several environmental remediation and risk management projects and determined environmental liability. She then worked in the Transportation Planning and Transportation Infrastructure departments, where she worked in various areas involving the planning, design, and construction of roads and bridges. In 2009, Micheka relocated to London, Ontario, where she opened our London branch. She specializes in the areas of property loss/structural claims, personal injury assessments, and fire cause and origin investigations.

Micheka has received further education in the areas of Building Science, Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Cause and Origin Investigation, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, and Forensic Engineering. She is an active member of the PEO, OSPE, NAFI, CAFI, NFPA, IAAI, and CSFS. She has been qualified in the Ontario Superior Court to provide expert witness testimony.
